coming from spotify, learning the features of this app took a while. Some of them are awkward, especially the automatic playing of available episodes, and the sorting functions. Still, it's a better option than Spotify if you don't need video. None of the podcasts I followed over there that have video seem to have the same video option on the feed.

You can subscribe to any existing podcast including video but only if they are available as a podcast (not a youtube channel) Which part of automatic playback and sorting do you find awkward (Settings/Feedback)? Thanks

So many ways to customize your experience, extremely stable regardless of task and actions, automation galore, and very feature rich compared to competitors. Sadly, no method to tag or mark a group of individual episodes (not just podcast-level category) for playback together as a topical playlist. This is useful for a great many podcasts that each cover a wide variety of topics and produce a high number of episodes.
