I just got an "advert" that was a blatsnt link to malware on this app. Jan 15th 2026. I took a screenshot. It claimed my phone was "infected" and linked to a fake page mimicing the google play store with a link to download a virus. Advertisers need to be Vetted. This is unacceptable.

This used to be my favorite notes app. I've used it for years and across multiple phones. I love that the notes are easy to customize, you can sort your notes into folders, and you can password lock notes. However, the ads have overrun the experience to the point where I'm not willing to deal with it anymore. When it was just a banner ad, okay. But now it feels like I can't edit a note without an obnoxious pop-up ad blocking my entire screen for several seconds. Very disappointing.
