Microsoft Planner APP Review

Microsoft Planner is a powerful tool that requires an eligible Office 365 work or school subscription to unleash its full potential. If you’re looking for an intuitive platform to streamline your teamwork, this is the app for you! However, it's important to note that personal Office 365 accounts won’t work with this app, so check in with your IT department if you're unsure about your subscription.

This productivity app allows teams to create plans, organize tasks visually, and monitor progress in a seamless manner. With a user-friendly interface, users can categorize tasks, drag and drop them between columns, and communicate effectively without switching between different apps. The My Tasks view ensures that everyone is on the same page with what needs to be accomplished.

One of the real highlights of Microsoft Planner is its collaborative capabilities. Teams can work on tasks together, share files, and engage in discussions around those tasks all within the app. This feature reduces the need for using multiple applications, centralizing your team’s efforts in one convenient location. Plus, with its cross-device functionality, you can remain productive whether you're on the go or stationed at your desk.

In summary, while Microsoft Planner might not be perfect, it is a significant enhancement to the Microsoft productivity ecosystem. It’s an excellent tool for small teams seeking to manage projects effectively, provided your organization has access to Microsoft 365.

Doesn't integrate Copilot365 or Graph yet. Can't semi automate my logistics yet.

UX is horrid. UI is dated. Many crucial features unavailable on Android. You can't even create a plan ! A planner that doesn't allow you to create the task the app is made for. You have to use the web version in order to have that feature enabled. When you know there are free and open source devs working alone and make wonderful, functional apps, but a company as large as Microsoft can't even do a useful app...

As is my experience with almost all Microsoft products for Android, it barely works and is next to useless for doing any work. latest issue - not all my plans even show up in the list.
