Honestly, the new UI is just a big step backwards. Now there is a more visible push for these inane Reddit Games and navigating to the list of Popular posts is no longer just a swipe away from your feed. Instead now you have to go through a menu for it. So from a usability perspective we go from one swipe to two taps which is just increasing the friction for no good reason at all.
