Have been using this app for years, to control my TV Back Lights which has been working perfectly. Have recently purchased quite a few Govee GU10 bulbs. The setup was straight forward using this app which I could control with Alexa. I highly recommend Govee and their devices.

This app has never worked well but it gets worse with every update. It's the most convoluted app I've ever interacted with and while sometimes they make things better, mostly it gets so confusing and buggy that I only have the mental space to use the most basic features. It won't even connect to light groups now and if you move you have to update the wifi for each and every device, one at a time. Don't worry, the network and password will autofill inside the app for each one 🙄

I use the Govee app to monitor my Govee bluettooth hygrometer/thermometer in my new studio shed, and it works very well. I also use Govee's bulbs in our home, so I have been very happy with Govee products for a few years now.
