Fun if you like loosing and repeating levels over and over again. Levels feel very constricting. Almost all levels forces you to beat the level with a predetermined squad that they define as "strategy." Premium is nothing than more a waste of money on plants you'll never use 'cause they keep forcing you to use their squad repeatedly. Premium plants are weak, forcing you to pay more money to level them up to even make them useful. Over 3/4's of the plants in the game are locked behind a paywall.

I've loved this game for years, it used to be a go-to game whenever I was bored. I used to open this game and play the game modes for hours with joy. Key word USED. Now, this game is riddled with microtransactions and a lootbox gimmick for new plants. Not even getting started on the plants, power scaling is broken and the plants don't even feel like it comes from the same game! Why bother unlocking plants or use strategy when you can just buy these overpowered plants and win. Where's the joy?
