Pokémon Friends APP Review

Pokémon Friends is an engaging puzzle game that offers over 1,200 puzzles, providing players with a range of challenges from quick brainteasers to tricky conundrums. If you’re a fan of puzzles and Pokémon, this is a game that might catch your attention.

In Pokémon Friends, players have the unique opportunity to 'knit' new Pokémon pals by solving these puzzles to earn yarn. The premise involves helping the inhabitants of Think Town, who are in need of assistance to restore joy through your savvy problem-solving skills. With features that allow you to track your daily progress, it promotes regular gameplay and rewards your persistence.

Another fun aspect of the game is the room customization feature. You can decorate your personal plush room with a variety of furniture and themes, making it feel truly personalized and cozy. With features for the whole family to enjoy, it’s easy to see why this game aims for broad appeal.

However, a notable downside to Pokémon Friends is the concerns over the cost of full gameplay. Many players have expressed frustration regarding the optional in-game purchases necessary for the complete experience. This leads to a tense balance between enjoying free content and feeling pressured to spend more. Despite these challenges, the game does encourage a creative and fun approach to puzzle-solving.

In conclusion, while Pokémon Friends offers a colorful and enjoyable puzzle-solving experience interwoven with charming Pokémon themes, prospective players should be aware of the monetization model and its implications on gameplay experience. If you’re up for a puzzle challenge and enjoy Pokémon, it might be worth a try!

Bought the DLC/passes because the daily limit was low and slow. Ground through to max level so quickly that there was no more progress to make beyond just making pokemon. Massive waste of money. Do not spend money on this.

Nintendo was really doing great on this game. the mini games remind me of warioware and the graphics and physics work great mostly. I get why people hate the in app purchases but still easily 5 stars

The game was fun for a while. The puzzles start to get repetitive after a while though. My biggest issue right now is that, for the past few days, I can't get past the "Tap To Start" opening screen. It's not reading my taps at all, not even the shop or settings buttons. When I tap on Eevee or Pikachu, it makes a noise, so I know it can register some taps
