great game, but one major issue to report. I bought the "better paddles" upgrade, and it does sense the ball sooner, but once you buy the upgrade the paddles almost never follow through on hits, so the ball hardly ever gets hit back to the pegs (and no way to turn off better paddles)

not a bad game I had to force reset my phone twice because of accidentally holding down my thumb on one of the icons on the bottom of the screen which then soft locked my phone unable to tap anything

I think this is a great idea. We all know the idle genre is getting a bit repetitive and samey. So far I think really you should add some sound effects that would make it 100 times more interactive. I also think instead of having two small tap buttons, you should just be able to tap the sides of the screen so you don't keep missing the buttons. I think it would just make it more comfortable and give flexibility to how you hold the phone. That said great start!!!
