Permission-required app. They will not allow a search without the ability to sell your data to salesmen, massively dissdvantaging you in any sale. They know what you want, and the max you'll pay - all thanks to this app. Time to switch to somehting for users, not an app that puts generational monopoly dealerships first at the sacrifice of you getting a reasonable chance at purchase while selling you to the highest bidder. Sold-out, and now useless.

I started using CarGurus many years ago. BEWARE... History reports are often wrong. I've looked at dozens of vehicles on CarGurus that have had damage reported, yet CarGurus shows no damage reported. ALWAYS click the link to the dealers website and view the Carfax report provided by the dealership. Some of the vehicles I've looked at have had damage reported to Carfax twice, but CarGurus history shows no damage reported.

Our vehicle history information comes from third‑party data providers, and sometimes there can be timing or reporting differences between what appears on CarGurus and what is shown on a dealer’s CARFAX report. When that happens, it means the underlying data sources are out of sync, not that we’re intentionally hiding information.
