Worst Family History App Available. The information about people entered is public and is regularly altered and deleted by users, regardless of their level of knowledge, connection to the people in question or skill in researching. I have repeatedly had entire lines in my tree deleted by someone who has no connection to my family and no skill in researching. This app is a massive waste of time and energy for anyone who desires to do genuine research to build your family tree.

The shared Family Tree allows others to make changes to your relatives, which can be frustrating. But you also benefit from the many contributions from others. For most users, the benefits far outweigh the problems. If you would like to be notified of changes made to your relatives, use the Follow feature for important ancestors in your tree.
