After switching from V1 you V2 the app can't find and connect a smart bulb. Why to change something which works well???

DO NOT RECOMMEND PRODUCTS The "improved" V2 app is a huge step back. It requires user to link to 3rd party app(Google/Facebook) to be able to use which is a total invasion of privacy. I can no longer set specific times for schedules; Just sunrise/sunset options. The old app worked fine, but this version wants too much of my personal info and less functional. I’ve invested a lot of money in these, but I'm replacing immediately with KASA bulbs which don't require any 3rd party app link
