It's actually insane this app wants you to pay a monthly subscription when as a free user, I constantly experience a multitude of bugs. The app randomly crashes, doesn't load, plays the wrong stream, stalls in the background, and the "Clip" feature is absolutely useless unless you keep the app open on your screen the entire time. If you hear something you want to 'Clip' and open the app, it refreshes automatically and the clip button greys out. Lousy app with tons of bugs and a pricetag.

You don't, the app is free to use. A subscription is completely optional and only needed if you'd like access to some additional features and/or don't want to see ads. You can still listen to all of the scanners without one.
