I spent all this time setting up categories and envelopes so I could track my spending, only to find out the first time I try to simply put in an expense, I can't save it unless I give the transaction a name. It already has a name! It's in the category groceries! why do I have to go through this extra step? And I have to create an account for the funds to be pulled from? I just want to track! This is not user friendly. I will something else to track my spending. Edit: I AM on "track"

We are so sorry for the confusion. The FaithFi app has multiple system types to choose from and it sounds like you’re on the Envelope System. To change the system type click the two bars in the right corner of the Home tab, click System Type and Select Track Only and click Save. I've used this app for a few years. new update is so frustrating. slow laggy both in trying to tap something and also with syncing with your bank account. it's told me twice now I have a few hundred dollars more than I actually do to distribute to envelopes. I've learned I can't trust it on weekends. trying to find a simple envelope app is rough. I'll keep looking.
